Wow. (minor rant warning…) HOW COULD YOU?!?! HAVING YAMI KILL YUUGI IS TERRIBLE!! BROTHERS AT ODDS IS ALWAYS SO CRUEL! ok, I’m done. I was forewarned it would be like that, yet I just had to read it anyway…
Anyhow, I really really liked this story, though I must admit, I have a few questions. 1) Was Yuugi really kidnapped, or did he just leave? Who kidnapped him? 2) What didja mean by this line: “Years later, Mutou Yami, Yuugi’s older twin, got tired of the hounding of other mages.”? Hounded to do what? Did he turn evil, as could be implied by “Yuugi would learn that Light is more powerful than the Dark. Yami only wished that he would be the one to teach him.”? 3) Was the family line corrupted just because Yuugi was corrupt or did that taint everyone? 4) Did Yami turn Dark because he was cut by Yuugi’s black blade, since he had to purge himself the first time he was cut…but the next time, he was supposed to be out of magic… (Hehehehe…oops…I’ll keep my confused wonderings to myself next time. I think I’m thinking about this a little too much. Sorry…)
I’m not sure how you managed it, but you made it all right in the end…too bad it had to happen after everyone was already dead…but then again, then I don’t think I would’ve liked it as much…
Hmm…I know there were several lines that I liked, but I can’t seem to find ‘em now… Ah, here’s one: “A bloody eye was forever stained into his mind.” ‘stained his mind’…good, good!! Gives a clear image…plus the word ‘stained’ really fits well… Ah, yes…also, good description noting the changes in Yuugi: “A permanent sneer seemed imprinted on his face. Those sparkling amethyst eyes that radiated innocence were no longer there. In their place were blank purple eyes that sparked fear in one’s heart.” Wonderful wording. (Like the tone throughout the story, too: dark, forbidding…) Heh…you could technically do a sequel to this…if you had Yami and Yuugi be reincarnated…but nah, you’re ending’s way better!
Okay, I’m done babbling. Awesome story! :)

Oh my gosh! I'd never thought I'd like something Star Wars-based. I loved how indepedant and eerily aloof Yuugi was in destroying his elder brother. //grins fiendishly// Yet light always prevails. //grumbles// But the ending was sure somethin'!

You wrote this story well! Nice originality with the Storm Mage class and the eye in blood. This was nicely put together
