I'm not at all familiar with this show or any of these characters, but this does suggest to me what keeps old legends alive, sometimes for centuries. People tell their own children the same stories their own parents told them when they were children, and in telling these stories once more, they forge a connection with their departed parents.

The real joys in life are the simple ones.

Aww that's sad. Very well written though. I really like Sokka, but he does tend to be a little annoying with his behavior. He's really smart though, which is the cool thing about him.

Well good job, I really wish this were longer though. O well, keep up the good work!

*sobs* So sad! Yet so beautiful. Katara is expressing her true feelings about her mother's death. Sokka doesn't seem to comprehend. I loved how you put this all together in a sort of poetry form as you said earlier...this was a great fanfic. *sobs again*

Let this be a lesson to you...young grasshopper. :)

WOW! Git any words for 'completely blew me away"? So beautiful, so full of emotion, so moving, it breaks your heart. I can't beleieve how excellent you made this for something so short, which makes you twice as great a writer. Keep it up, maybe a vignette for each character. It would be nice to have more masterpieces like this to read.

Hey there! Sadira here. I hope you're doing well. I just read your Avatar story. I really enjoyed it. It was very well written and very powerful! It gave me an idea for a story of my own.
I can't wait to read more of your wonderful work.
May the power of water, earth, fire and air be with you always
Sadira
