Ooh, nice stuff - I like the bittersweet at the end. And I especially like the point that she might never have known the real him. I've always thought that about her. If she'd only open her freakin' eyes & look at him, look at what he offers her, she would *know* it was okay!

I like your style of writing, very powerful, very capable of inspiring emotions. I'm curious as to what inspired you to write Chakotay as being so angry, perhaps there's something of yourself written into the charachter? Whatever way, I liked it.
