Hehehe, I half-remembered this, Lady asking Dante if he's gay, the whole thing is awesome XD. Dante's whole thinking over his not-a-date date angle is really fun to read, the way he works at the details and such, it's just enjoyable to play through the nuances of all, and you throw in some reflection on past evens too as if it wasn't good enough already, hehehe, fun reading.

It's been a couple of years since you've updated this, and hey, no rush, this is one of those things you can add to as and when you like, but for what you've written so far, this has inspired me, I can offer little higher praise, it has given me ideas :D.

I really like the opening of this chapter, not just the very start but a good portion of it, maybe as far as halfway. I like how you go into the changes Dante has experienced inside and out between DMC3 and, I'm guessing, DMC1, although this may be set around DMC2 time, but I get the impression it isn't. Either way, the way you tie in things like descriptions of his change of clothes and attitude that we all know from the games with your own takes on things serves to weave the fic quite neatly into the DMC world. That's my favourite part about this chapter, it's a change of pace from the very set-time feel of the first one, but I think you really made good of the change of tactics 8).

Hehehe, I remember the Vanguard/Scythe argument, it's cute XD. I'm gonna say right off that I like this series since it's got detail and character and such, but neither the number of words per chapter or total chapters is especially high, I appreciate being able to communicate things concisely, it's something I'm working on myself XD. Anyways, this is a nice blend of tension and humour, I can actually relate to some of Dante's worrying, and the thing with the clocks going back, or the argument over the demon's name, keeps it from becoming super-grim, which can cause people to take all the drama and such for granted, kudos for keeping things balanced to better appreciate the extremes.

Aw...lovely. Good everything grammar wise, but what stood out was pace. You've got an awesome control over the speed of a story; the interspersing of dialogue, description and character thoughts. Love it!

Why'd you have to go and end it that way? Dude...! What the crap? I loved the start, but come on, and i'm sorry, that sucked.

this is a funny chapter and quite cute ^__^ but please make it so sweetly romantic like you did the first chapter. i know you are building it up like that but i can't wait to see how it turns out in the end. You writes very nice romances. Their so hard to do.
