Great story! I enjoyed all of them, but the scene in Chapter Four was just so beautifully depicted that I have to call it my favorite. You did very well in capturing Obi-Wan's character.

You're bashing him out of love? That's what we all do! We hurt you Obi, we torture you because we love you so much. That blood we spilt? Love.
Ha ha! This was very sweet. I enjoyed both fluffness from both training bonds. Much love.

Oh, this was a very good read! I had my doubts when I first read your author note in the first chapter, because I think Obi-Wan was right about Anakin being too brash (hey, he almost got them both killed in the confrontation with Dooku) but this fic is really interesting, and I love the way you try to understand Obi-Wan.

Of course, as others, I realized he probably didn't appreciate having a kid he didn't like thrusted on him by a dying Gui Gon, but it's also true it must have been frustrating having no privacy for 24 years or a real lone knighthood. I'm adding this fic to my favs.

This is a nice little story. Very well done.

heya! i loved this! cleverly writen and i like the way you entwined two similar situations to make one story!
my fave line was in chapter 3 ... ("I'm sorry, Master," he murmured. He must have been dreaming when his Master had said those two precious words, 'Good boy'. Perhaps sleep would take away the pain, though he doubted it.) i like this because although poor anakins in a lot of pain, the pain hes talking about at this point isn't physical, but emotinal... anyway great peice!

A very nice character study of Obi-Wan. You clearly showed the difficulties between him and Anakin. While we understand that perfectionism, stoicism and wry wit are just part of who Obi-Wan is, Anakin is baffled and sometimes hurt by his behavior, to which Obi-Wan remains clueless. It's tragic, really. They're both great people, but they just don't get each other. I think Obi-Wan actually understands Anakin better after he's knighted, probably because he can then think of Anakin as a friend, rather than a responsibility. Very good, well-written potrayal here. I enjoyed it a lot.

Great story. The characterizations and dialogue were perfect. I also loved the great parallelisms between Obi-Wan's relationships with Qui-Gon and Anakin. Wow. Awesome.

Oh, a very beautiful ending to a hard-edged fic. I really felt for Obi-Wan, understood his relief there. It was interesting that the first four chapters had nothing from his perspective at all, and this last was all from him. All in all, a unique and well-written story. Very, very well done!
