Great story. A very good moral for our young queen and I just *loved* the insight on Obi-Wan. I had imagined a reaction out of him similar to what your story described. Then again (God, I'm never gonna shut up, am I?) maybe Qui-Gon didn't *need* to express his fatherly love for his padawan, *because of* their bond. You know, sort of telepathy/empathy thing.

Wow... great job on this fic. Poor Obi-Wan!

I teared up there for Obi-Wan, especially his rememberance of Qui-Gon's last words and who they were for. The comment about Jedi's keeping there emotions too much in check is compelling, I've wondered if it might be their one great weakness--that they try too hard to balance all their emotions and never quite succeed. Even Yoda gets irritated :)

Another excellent story!!! I really do love your command of more emotional pieces, though I'm not experienced enough in Star Wars stuff yet to offer any helpful notes on whether or not you've caught the characters. I know you do Harry Potter characters very well, though...!
