Well..this sure is different from all the romancy stuff I ve been reading, thats for sureXD, but it was rather attracting, your story. The opening innuendo sure made me laugh:) I really loved this though, it was rather interesting. It really got into more of how our protagonists could be...persona wise(is that right? I mean like...personality-wise...anyways:P) the whole concept of max trying to get monica to loosen up and relax was a joy to readXD. It kinda does look like something that would really happen between them though. The whole "Penny for your thoughts" thing was a real nice touch, I thought that was pretty coolXD
I gotta say, I rather enjoyed this piece. Leaves me with a wierd feeling actuallyXD
though..its a good wierd feeling( yay!)

No, seriously, this has to be one of the better stories I've read on FFnet.
Max and Monica are in character, there's lots of description and amazing dialouge (sp?), and the ideas presented her are pretty profound aswell.
It took me a couple of months to finish off DC2, and I really liked the game (ending sucked thou).
This little story was really quite good thou. Max's way of thinking, Monica's logic on the war, are all awesome, especially the way you protrayed it.
Very nice job, very good fic, please keep writing I'd love it if there were more stories on FFnet that were as good as this was.

Great job and story, Intrasonic! That was one heck of a piece. It kind of gives a lot of interesting insights, and I have to totally agree with you on the 'princess' thing, but I'm pretty sure the reason the princesses were pathetic was because the lesson on most of those stories was about chivalry. Anywho, superb job! Read my work sometime, after I'm done with chapter 4. It's DC2, too.

Wonderful job. Thanks for such a good read! I really enjoyed the way you were so able to capture the characters' personalities so well, in both spoken dialogue and actions. It was interesting to see Monica get so hot-headed for a minute there once the topic of Gaspard came up. A shame it ended so quickly! I would've loved to have seen a bit more of their interaction and development, perhaps at a point a bit later in the story...

First off, I have to say it's SO refreshing to find a fic involving Max and Monica that doesn't fling them both into all sorts of improbable romantic angsting and pining. *laugh* But not only that, you manage to expand upon and explore both Max and Monica's characters while keeping them believably IC. Very enjoyable read! :)

This was a very enjoyable read - you have a really good grasp of Max and Monica's characters. The dialogue sounded perfectly like them.
