You know I read somewhere that that Ignotus Peverell (1st owner of the Invisibility Cloak) was the Potter's ancestor while his brother Cadmus Peverell was related the ancestor to the Gaunt Family and thus Voldemort making the 2 related, even if it's not very distinctly.
