abuseThis is an amazing story. I mean, I know a lot of people have said this (that must be because it's true!), but I'll say it again. Your characterization of the Joker was excellent. It was more than excellent... it was spot-on, as perfect as a human being can get. Every line felt right. You didn't make him reasonable or sane. I don't know how to explain it, but he was great. /You/ are great. :D

You also managed to add humor to the story with Alfred's priceless sarcasm. Your story has it all: action/adventure, humor, mystery, description, proper grammar, in-character-ness, injured!Joker (man I love that)... and lots of other stuff that I can't think of right now. God... I'm in awe. ;)

Um... I like how you added in Catwoman, too. And your little character introspection of Gordon was awesome. Oh, and Ari Kelly! What a great original character. He was important to the plot but not the center of it, he was in no way a Gary Stu, and he was funny! I love him. xD

Uh, well, nothing else is coming to mind right now... Sorry for this horrible review. I should really improve my vocabulary (speaking of, your vocabulary is very impressive). So... congratulations. You managed to come up with a plot and tie it with a neat bow into an ending I actually like (very, very rare).

abuseI found this via a recommendation and wow! Characterization for the respective characters is perfect, the descriptions are great and it kept me guessing right to the end. I have submitted this review after reading it three times and so this is being added onto my favourites.

abusePerfect. In every sense of the word. No grammatical errors, not a single skip in the plot, and most of all pinpoint intricacies on each of their personalities.
Hope to see more of your work, Killing Joke.

abuseThis is really a fantastic story. It was recommended to me today, and I'm glad that I had a look. The way you write Joker really appealed to me. He is unhinged, and unapologetic. I like that you did not redeem him or give an explanation for his madness. Because that's a trap most Batman fanfiction writers fall into. They want to justify and explain madness, something that, by it's very definition, cannot be defined or explained. I'm glad as well that you decided to add Cat Woman. Most fics would have one think that the only people in Gotham are Batman and the Joker. It really added demention to the story. Some moments were slow, but not badly so. I congratulate you on this riveting and wholly unexpected story.

abuseGoddamn, but this was epic. I adore everything about this story, especially the Joker. He was so ridiculously in-character I'm scandalized (and vaguely frightened). Also, Alfred's lines? Priceless.

In the end, however, I love the parallels you created between Mrs. Wright and Ari Kelly, and how the different paths they chose after their lives were disrupted by a super(villian/hero). Honestly. I'm IN LOVE with this story. I wish I could leave you a better review, but I'm afraid I'm still a bit amazed and speechless.

Thank you for writing this.

abuseAnd here I thought I was going to sleep, until I clicked on this fic. You got the characters down perfect, and the ending tied everything together brilliantly and neatly. Congrats.

abuseLovely work!! I really enjoyed seeing Batman team up with Joker, if only for that one interrogation scene. They do Good Cop, Bad Cop very well, haha. Wonderful plot idea.

abuseThis story was amazing! Your portrayal of the Joker was dead-on, and you manage to make him sickeningly funny while he's being a psycho. Great story, keep up the good work!

abuseHello vladimirsangel !

Here is Falang from deviantart ! Your story is great, very ! And I like the "Oh **. Oh god help me. He’s awake." of Dr Kelly ! ^^+

More seriously, what I like particularly is your respect of the characters : I mean, even "being suffering the pangs of death, the Joker stays the Joker. But I must confess I have a sadistic liking : imagine the Joker with cut strings, I felt like cuddling him, you know ? Like Harley !! ^^' (yes, it's a little dangerous...)

And the strange collaboration between Batman and Joker was interesting. And I love the scene with the Joker in the last chapter, when he "plays" with his cards... the Queen of Hearts and the Joker ! Simple but beautiful idea !

Well, a very good story ! Adding to my favourites (even I don't come very much this times in Fanfiction). I will advise it to one of my friends, who loves the Batman universe !

Still my congratulations !

abuseAri Kelly finds his courage! *Cheers him and you for making it so believable* And Fantastic descriptions! A mind like an exceptionally brilliant sieve! That was just wonderful. I also liked the 'cheerful' gleam of the light on his restraints. Loved the way you wrap this up, the brooding on madness, the fantastic, the ordinary, the way they all interact and change places in your characters life. Loved the way you lightened it all suddenly, like flicking over a playing card at the end. Stunning writing. Looks effortless. I know it isn't. Wonderful
