This is one of the best CSI stories I have ever read.

This was absolutely delightful. I'd analyze individual parts of it, but the whole thing is so smooth and comes together so perfectly that it would be superfluous. You just go from one excellently-constructed idea to the next without any gaps. Beautiful story.

Thanks for sharing this well-written, insightful look into the tortured psyche of my favorite CSI. It wasn't enough that the eppie Grave Danger put poor Nick through hell. I wanted more! Thank you for so capably filling my need for Nick angst. Kudos for indicating the reality that Nick's mental recovery will be a long journey, and that he won't be magically his old self one episode later(despite what television writers sometimes write).

Wow. One of the few Post-Grave Danger fics that I have read where Nick is actually healing and moving on instead of brooding. Wonderful and beautiful job! I'm really impressed.

I also agree with Kristen, how in the world did I miss this story!? It's great!

And one more question: Why is this story rated M? I expected it to be freakishly angsty when I saw that, but got a really well written story with a nice ending that left you with hope. Beautiful job either way!

This is one of the best of the post Grave Danger fics I have read...and believe me! I read them all! Nicely done- looking forward to reading more Nick Fic from you.

Incredible. There's not much else to describe this. I enjoy character studies, and this was very insightful. Such a dark way of looking at things, but the saddest part is that there's so much truth behind it, Nick really has to cope with all these things.

Very well written and characterized perfectly. An awesome job, I loved it very much. ^_^

My question is: How the Hell did I miss this story?

That was very intense in a way where you make parts of the brain function that are normaly fast asleep. The depth of insight inot Nick's psyhe, his fractured thought process was truely amazing.

His twisted feelings on what he went though, what he cherishes now, what "little moments' he fears, all the triggers of normal life that send him back into that Hell, or the hell that is his mind.

The line about punching Uma was so freaking funny. Nice touch.
