OMG Padme/Palpatine... Thats so disgusting...

Ok I have to say this, although I know that probably you will never read this but I have tried to contact you about this story and you never said anything so I´ll just post my last resort here.
This is the point. you have here a wondurful story. And you abbandoned. If there are a thing in fanftion that I hate is this. You write a story and then you just dont finnish, especially this fic which have many readers.
At least you could have give this fic to someone to finnish it. I am sure that there would be a lot of people interest in that.
If the fic is finnish you just dont put complete, you don´t even give an explanation, nothing. Maybe you dont have to, but you should have. That´s what people do.
I am just saying this because I truly like this story and I thought that instead of beging to you for continue the story, I would give you the truth.

Maybe you think that I take this too serious. I dont. This is just a fic. I just think that when one starts a thing, one must finnish.

I love it!! I love the plot and the pairing.

Please don't stop this beautiful story at all. We're all waiting for an update!

You've left so many open questions to us:
Who's the one outside the window?
Is the friendship of Padme to Palpatine at a point of ending?
Is it possible that Palpatine is the father of Luke and Leia?
Is she going to recognize what he feels for her?
Is the kiss disturbing their professional relationship?

Is this the end? It's a good way to end, this tragic, doom and gloom note because Padme and Palpatine just simply ain't gonna happen in my eyes in this fic. There's only one route, and that's the route Palps has long forseen.

The emotion in this oozes and sizzles. One can really feel for Palps, his silent suffering and his fear and disgust (towards himself). I never considered Palps beyond this evil, evil man but you gave him levels, and he is human and everybody has levels.

Anyhoo, the 'ending' did have an unfinished feel for it...the sudden appearance of Anakin. Either to me it's a symbol of saying goodbye forever to Palps and saying hello to Anakin, of how Ani will always be Padme's special one...even if Palps is the one who truly understands her. Or are hinting there is much more to come?

Please don't let us wait that long...

This chapter was really sad. And I'm not sad for Padme - I'm sad for Palpy and I never thought I'd be on the verge of tears for him of all characters. Padme is acting a bit childish and a little weird... I don't know. Kind of odd that she suddenly turned cold because he kept the secret from her for twelve years and now she doesn't think she really knows him.Then again I know she is right, of course, because he secretly IS the Darth Lord of the Sith. Dude, complicated stuff!

“You were the only real thing in my life.” :*( That is so tragic. Of course the sentence " She found it difficult to look into his eyes, probably because she knew that if she stared at them long enough, he’d find his way back into her heart" is very intruiging too. ;)

Update soon! I love this story! Most people would shy away from an AU plot like this simply because it features Palpatine - they don't have the insight to see him as a conflicted figure rather than just a purely evil antagonist. Yes, Palpatine is the bad guy in SW, but I really believe that all people, even antagonists, always have more than one side to them in some form or another (and Palpatine especially, since he IS human as you have mentioned before). It takes a smart, talented writer to understand that concept and to exploit it. :)

Can I just say that I love this story? You have made me really identify with Palpatine as a person. I love his conflicts between the Sith side that has decided Padme's fate and the human side that wants to be with her forever. Now I won't be able to watch him or Padme in the movies again without thinking of this story. ^^ I kind of hope that you will make this AU and have Padme fall in love with Palpatine before the end.

Excellent Story! It gives you some layers to Palpatine and you could believe that he could have lusted for Padme and did what he did.

Eventhough he bedded her, he was unable to corrupt her.

I hadn't been reading your fanfic for a while, but with the release of Episode I (I know it's been our for a while, but I just now got it as an early Christmas present) I've really been into Star Wars. You express the story so eloquently, like some of the expressions you use, such as, "the mask wearing you," really describe the situation perfectly. Please update soon!
