Any chance of a prequel? See what happened to lead up to this, and how is Megaman taking it?

Wow...very nicely written, and it gives us an interesting look at a side of Dr. Wily's personality not often seen (actually, come to think of it, Dr. Wily hardly ever gets to show personality).

This was a good story, even though it was a deathfic of one of my favorite characters. =P I liked seeing how Wily really thinks about and treats Proto, and how sometimes the two (thoughts and actions) conflict with each other. And I liked seeing how Proto might react if Wily ever did something that led to his death (although this probably isn't really Proto speaking, but just Wily's mind).

I kind of wish I knew how Proto had died, but maybe it's for the best. I also wish I could have seen it happen, seen how Wily and everyone reacted to it... But that would have turned this one-shot into a full-length fic. *grins*

Only one nitpick: “Then what do you want to hear?” he whispered. “An apology? A plead for mercy?” ((That should be plea, not plead.))
