I like the nitty-grittiness of this story: the awkwardness, the sweat, the blood, and that great line, His skin was like silk stretched over stone.

Of course it hurt again tomorrow, and on some level the day after that, and after that, on and on. Very nice.

Short, sweet and to the ultimate point - the man between them and the pain. Nicely done.

Great one shot story... and, YES, I have read all available chapters of Solo...so the question that begs to be asked is not why WE are not reading Solo right now, but WHY YOU are not writing more on that story instead of this one! :) get the hint! we want more Solo!
