Well, I just picked this up tonight, which was disastrous to my plan of getting a full night's sleep but it was definitely worth it. Great job on it; I enjoyed someone putting a twist on the 'Bobby and Alex get shot and things happen' storyline. Most of the time you see a lot of romance with those, but not so here. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to it, in later chapters (if there is going to be much more than this) because they do work well together. Hopefully we'll at least get to see Bobby settled into his new job.

Anyway, this was really great!

You're back and finally back to this story. I have to admit this is the longest you've ever taken with a fic that I can remember, but I can't complain. (especially with the superb Torchwood fics in between).

I knew Bobby would come back to the NYPD and I was hoping he would make it back to MC. Having Bobby's skills working with MC and the DA's office would be a plus and the jumping off spot for future fics (ihopeihopeihope). Adding Mike Logan as Alex's new partner but having the dynamic duo become a terrific trio would be great too. So many possibilities for stories... and you are a great story teller.

WOW!I'm sad that Bobby is paralyzed.But I'm happy that he's alive.

I think seeing 1PP from his new position would be daunting, a little scary, and a little sad. To know that the life he once had there was over.

Wow, what a great offer from the NYPD/DA! Don't know the money details, of course, but from what they were saying, it must be great. And we know the position is. I'm so glad for Bobby. Even though one phase of his life has changed, another door has opened up that seems to make him very happy. And Bobby deserves a little happiness.

I am happy to say I'm glad your muse did not abandon you forever. I find the interdepartmental tug of war as amusing as Bobby does. They really don't want any part of his mind rationed to the Bureau, so they? I was pleased they made the effort to accommodate his wishes and they had the guts to offer it to him. Losing such a vital part of who he was had to have been hard for him, and this goes a long way toward restoring his sense of self-worth. I hope your muse stays to play for awhile :-)

Well, hell, the title obviously speaks for itself. And there'll be more? I'm so glad this story's not dead! And, even better, Bobby gets everything we wanted for him even if he'll never walk again. I wondered what you'd do with that idea and I haven't disappointed at all. *takes deep breath* Okay, I overslept thanks to needing to take Benadryl this morning and need to eat breakfast, but I had to leave a review first because this was totally awesome to wake up to in the middle of the night.

I've been reading this story every so gradually and I love it to bits! Poor Goren! I adored this Chapter - strange to say - because it had every element the show should need. You write Bobby extremely well and you're not the only one who adores Detective Inspector Jack Frost, I have often thought he should be pairing up with quite a few other Detectives we all come to love and hate! Keep up the good work. I am so glad that I have managed to catch up!

Wow, this sound like it going to be a great fic. Although, I have to things that really bothered me. First, the amount of times the shooting was recounted, to was too many times. Also the amount of information that people receved, in a situation like that, people don't get that much information, they only get small bits of info at a time. But I can't wait to read the rest!

Wow! She beat the crap out of Bobby! Poor Bobby! How devastating! Just as he was starting to accept his situation. Good thing Fielding was there, or she might have killed him. It was sure tough for Bobby, with his mother's idolization of Frank. At least Frank tried to set her straight. And how humiliating for Bobby to have to face everyone after that. Poor guy, at least Alex was there for him at the end. A tough one for Bobby.
