abuseOnce again, you have amazed me. I don't see why you didn't like this. Running with ideas is the way I get my stories, and I guess that's why people reviewed them the way they did. Keep running with those ideas.

abuseWow. That was amazing.

You really nailed Emma down to a T, I felt like you were feeding us the directs thoughts from her mind.

I only really review those fan-fics that I truly like (and I'm a picky reader), but this is by far the best Emma Nelson story I've read yet.

Brilliant.

abuseWhy are you so good? I've now read 7 of your fics (and many others) over the past several hours, and each time I finish, I have to pause and catch my breath. I'm completely serious.

You write the kind of stories that inexplicably force us to keep reading even though we cringe at seeing the real picture. The real picture that is revealed after layers upon of layers of clouded film are ripped away from our eyes, showing that life isn't as picturesque as it seems.

It's like we're holding our breaths the entire story; we're not, really, but what else could it be that makes us feel like something has stolen our breath away? The final words make us tense in anticipation, and they never disappoint. It's an inexplicable, startling experience. Something tightens in my chest - like when something surprising or powerful has taken place - and there is a momentary paralysis as I sit in the aftermath of your tale. After a few moments, I take a slow, deep breath that gently loosens that knot in my chest, and I exhale just as slowly as I feel an uncharacteristic quiet joy spread through my veins.

You have a gift. A serious gift. Saccharine-sweet tales satisfy many people, however implausible they may be. Since my discovery of and consequent obsession with Degrassi a mere 25 days ago, I have watched nearly every episode (Bless The-N for the Every-Episode-Ever Marathon!) and read countless fics (from the very good to the horribly bad). I managed to find several long fics that managed to stay within the precarious boundaries of reality and that were well-crafted, touching, not too sappy, and, most importantly, realistic.

But with you, I have struck gold. You pack more emotion and sheer matter into your one-shots than many of those multi-chapter fics. In each genre/fandom I have read over the past several years (Degrassi, Joan of Arcadia, Mighty Ducks, ER, Law & Order SVU, Popular - the list goes on and on), I manage to find a handful of authors who have not only mastered their craft, but have consistently churned out quality material born in their inexhaustible, limitless imaginations.

You are my new treasure trove. I am so pleased I managed to find your fics, and I am eagerly anticipating future one-shots and your new multi-chapter fic on Manny.

I would really love to talk to you about your fics (and your writing in general). My email address is on my profile, but if that doesn't work, post a note on the review board of my story "Seconds by Heartbeats" and we can figure something out.

Brilliant are you.

abuseThat was great. I had been looking for a good Emma story to read. You really captured how I think she felt after the shooting, Sean/Wasaga Beach, and the Jay situation.

abuseThat was brilliant.

The expression and the detail and the narration kept me on the edge. It was intelligent and mysterious, which are the ingredients for a truly amazing story.

Good job.
