Brilliant one-shot! I loved it, probably one of the best one-shots I've read... Simple yet so complicated as you divulge into Sess's thoughts, which were beautifully written and really evoked a lot of emotion for the character. His desire for a true love that was so close yet still out of reach is such a simple, yet relatable and touching story... The reader really sympathizes with him, and the characters were really well done (do a great job describing how much Sess cares about Kagome and why he loves her, and do a great job making Inu hated). Really emotional, well-written one-shot that keeps you thinking about it even when you're done... great job!

Very well written. I think you captured Sesshoumaru's mindset well. Sad and compelling. Keep writing!
