The main character, Cricket, really sticks to the film noir of Sin City. He's not a good guy, down on his luck and everything he does (moral or not) just gets him more involved with even greater problems.

On the other hand, the imagry and allegory is lacking. It was raining and rain was rare, but was it "big fat rain, the kind that's like the moody house wife that slaps you in the face for staying out late but climbs inside your clothes and festers until you stink"? No, it just rained.

Then again, note my review isn't "This sucked.", or worse yet-non existant. You got so much right that I can actually comment that your next step is riding theme right.

I'm your first reviewer, and I gotta say, I'm surprised no one else has reviewed it yet, it's an amazing story, I was worried you were going to kill off Delia and that wouldn't have made sense, not at all, where would she have been for Hell and Back adn her numerous yarns if she were dead.

Anyway, your story is great, the narration that you put was very like the comic books.
