OMG! Lemon it may be but this is the sweetest, most heart-felt, and amazing EdWin one-shot I've read in a while. You kept them both SO in character. Winry with her quiet understanding and her constant presense and her reassurance; she's so much more than a wrench-raging mechanic to me. So I'm glad you allowed us to see that softer side of her personality. Your characterization of Ed was amazingly spot-on as well. I've always imagined that he would be extremely self-conscience around her and feel that he's not good enough for her.

Thank you, THANK YOU for allowing them to slowly, very slowly open up to one another. I get so sick of fics that have them confess and then they're instantly all over each other. Everything about this seemed very natural and not contrived in the slightest.

Also, the bit about tickling Ed just about made me squee. My friends and I ADORE the idea of him being ticklish so that made me a vewy happy fangirl. X3

OHMYGOSH - this was adorable! Absolutly perfect. My one critique... I didn't get how old they were in the beginning. But once that was cleared up... I was enthralled. But Ed and Winry were wonderfully in character and their ineraction was brilliant!
