Shadowolf 3/26/11 . chapter 1 This is a sad poem but accurately portrays what they may of felt. |
 Eddi 5/24/07 . chapter 1sad, but better |
storm-of-insanity 4/16/06 . chapter 1you raise a good point. when i learnt about the holocaust i thought that the people who followed hitler were weak and spineless but now i think about it, maybe i would have done the same. if i saw a man being knived to death by a load of muggers i would like to say that i would run into the scene and fight them off but to be honest i think i would run away :'( |
wolfhorse 3/10/06 . chapter 1This might be a random soldier or just Iroh because Zuko didn't really fight that much. These are really cool poems. |
 Jordancatgirl7 2/12/06 . chapter 1That's really deep. |
McMuffinDragon 1/27/06 . chapter 1Once again, you've made me cry.
I'm really sensitive to the Holocaust, I'm really German and it hurts me to know think that my best friends are Jewish.
Great poem |
 1bzwriter 12/23/05 . chapter 1'What have i done?'
Hotspur THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Flood of inspiration for my new story...rest aussured no stealing ideas or copy-catting with be done it's just what the poam said and your comment about Hitler just sent my thoughts in that direction and then BAM BAM BAM! writer's block gone! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
If i was in the person's viewpoint in this poam i would absolutely horrified...devasted...sickened...angry...guilty.
Your comment about the people being fed Hitlers propaganda being compared to the Fire Nation people just made me stop and blink in horror in the absolute truth of this. (remember those kids cheering in #16 at the burning earth bender puppet Lord Ozai puppet set on fire?) This is one o fmy favorite poams; thanks for sharing!

animegirl785 12/15/05 . chapter 1No one truly knows what they have done til afterward do they? I don't know the answer to that, I just felt it kinda fit there. You really are an amazing author, best one ever. |
Cala Akina Morushiku 11/20/05 . chapter 1...wow, give me one moment to collect myself...
anywho, super super poetry. I liked how it didn't rhyme. that's a perfect way to relate our past to the Avatar present. Good job.

Khazia 8/1/05 . chapter 1What, indeed, have they done?
I agree about the Hitler thing. The people of my religion were greaty persecuted in Nazi times. No, I'm not Jewish, but I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Hitler wanted to exterminate them because they refused to pledge their allegience to any person or country other than God. And sometimes I wonder...would I have had the faith to go to a concentration camp for my beliefs?
Anywho, great poem. I love the last verse. This isn't something that people usually write about, and that's what I love about your stories!

Swyn Song 7/26/05 . chapter 1Wonderful! People generally think of Fire Nation peoples as completely evil, heartless killers, but this makes them seem like they are, normal people. |
issues09 7/25/05 . chapter 1wow that is really good to show a regret in someone that belived that they were doing something right until they saw it up close until he saw the pain he caused i think you interpered that greatly its a great poem |
Lucille Bluejay 7/17/05 . chapter 1I like this poem a lot. It resembles how our world and people are today. |

Tasermon's Partner 7/3/05 . chapter 1I don't know how you (or anyone else) would react in the 1930's, but the fact that you put so much thought and feeling into your moral judgement now proves that you put more faith into doing what's right, as opposed to just what's popular, and proves that you have something many humans seem to lack...an independent mind and a moral conscious. Congrats to you! And Great Story! |
