anon 8/22/11 . chapter 1 Ahhh, the "noble" suicide. The coward's way out...
Yet the reasoning and emotional buildup seems sound and understandable and of course the ambience you've constructed is fittingly creepy and perverted.
All in all a nice little play with a neat little idea, but not truly anything i could see the "seven books alongside us" Harry do. Waiting for an AK without blinking? Yes. Slitting his wrists and bleed out like a butchered animal? Naaaa. |
madbrad 12/1/06 . chapter 1Well, this plot didn't make too much sense to me. First off, the prophecy doesn't imply that the death of one mandates the death of the other, at all, to my mind. I couldn't see how Harry could have arrived at that conclusion.
(The reverse, though, is interesting ... as long as both are alive, theoretically they are immortal, invulnerable to everything except each other. As you/Harry noted, "no one would be able to stop us".)
Secondly, if one's dying could kill the other, why should Harry be so melodramatic and prance out to reach Voldemort? Just kill himself in his dormitory ... say goodbye to all of his friends, etc.
What would be a chilling story would be a departure from this ... 'awareness lit Voldemort's eyes, he stupefied me, then imprisoned me forever, keeping me just barely alive'? |
emilina potter 6/1/06 . chapter 1 Don't mind my language, but fuck that was good. Seriously, i have goosebumps. Like shit man. I loved the ending line, and the self-sacrifice idea was amazing. And the title is perfect. Keep up the good work! |
