oval 2006-11-15 ch 9,	abuseWow. Seriously, wow. This story is amazing. The relationship between Nick and Greg is just . . . I can't even describe it. It’s so touching, I guess is what I'm trying to say. You can tell how much Nick cares for Greg; how desperate he was to find Greg and keep him safe, like he feels Greg's well-being is his own responsibility. It’s so Nick to act like that, to feel that he needs to personally protect those he cares for. Even your villains are great. Dallas and Memphis. As much as I love Greg and don’t want to see him hurt, I couldn’t wait for a scene with those two each chapter. Memphis especially – that guy was freakin sadistic! Jesus. You did such a great job with him. And that twist with Dallas – totally didn’t see it coming. All in all, this is definitely one of my favorite fics EVER. It was such an emotional rollercoaster. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
Suspension 2006-10-13 ch 9,	abuseHow I haven't reviewed this story, I'll never know. Shame on me. This is easily my favorite fanfiction story. Ever. On any website, from any author, and out of any fandom. I don't think my words can express the emotions I felt while reading it. Your writing has the tendency to do that to me. I think what makes this so enjoyable is how true you are the the characters. Greg is sarcastic and funny, even when he's in danger; Nick is proud and overprotective, showing his love and emotion for his friends; Grissom barely shows the emotion he's truly feeling as he takes charge of the situation; Catherine is the mother figure, willing to do anything it takes; Sara is feisty and determined; Warrick is cool and comforting, but still ready for action; even Brass is in character, pretending he's calm and professional, but is really scared for Greg. It's amazing how you can do all that. I can see everything when I'm reading this story; the backgrounds, the movements, the character's facial expressions...and this is because the author really expresses these amazingly through the well-crafted paragraphs. You do your research, and that makes the story all the more believable and enjoyable. My favorite paragraph out of this entire story: "Shrugging helplessly, Nick suddenly thought about the quarter, spinning for as long as possible until friction and gravity took it down. The quarter had to stop, it was inevitable. Just like the heart. Nick just prayed that Greg’s heart had a few more spins left in it and that gravity and friction would show some mercy." I got the chills reading that paragraph. To sum it up in one word: Flawless. I thank you for such an enjoyable read, even if my nerves were shot at the end!

I was home alone, scrolling through the fanfics for CSI when I stumble onto yours and think to myself, "Huh..A little Greg and Nick angst would hit the spot." Little did I know that I would end up an emotional wreck. Thanks a lot. I guess it really helped, though, being home alone, seeing as I was screaming and squeaking and jumping up from my chair every few minutes. I tell you, if anyone got that on tape, I'd be awfully embarassed. My favorite part of your story was the dialogue between Nick and Greg when he was in the freezer. It really was just heartwrenching and the pain was so tangible.Escpecially when he started singing. You have an extraordinary gift and I'm glad to see you are using it to its full extent. But seriously, I cried..several times. And for that, I blame you. This story is an emotional rollercoaster and I don't exaggerate when I tell you that I started hyperventilating during several scenes. My friend is also unhappy with my snappy "sh, you're ruining it!" So, congratulations, incredible work, shame on you for giving me a heart attack, etc, etc...
