Leah longs for the man of her dreams to notice her...Adele longs for the man who has noticed her to love another! Poor Adele...she desires to marry for love, not for social position or to please her father. I'm enjoying the element of mystery here! I'm wanting to know more...more about the one who watches...more about the dated entries. Wonderful job...keep it up! |

What an amazing setting, and intriguing look, for a familiar, and yet fresh cast of characters. I like Adele already...she's a southern belle, but with some spirit and independence. And her slightly bored tolerance of her father made me smile! I enjoyed Hattie and Leah also...and I look forward to meeting the others. Very well written, with just enough details to show that you know your "stuff", this is going to be a very enjoyable read! You are off to a great start! |
