Like, it's easy to see they're growing up and they're getting all those associated concerns, but you... still maintain that particular carefree sort of innocence they had. Peculiarly partial to the lackadaisical side of 'teenager' and yet softly, sweetly spreading and encompassing their... their /maturity/.
