What an absolutely brilliant take on Jayne's background, and great work at showing how River progressed through each of the important stages in his life, all the while building up to the burning conclusion between the two of them. Wow. I completely loved it! And I also liked how you flowed between real-life and the dream. It was all awesome!

Did you ever think of doing a sequal to this?
It was totally cute.
I loved the whole mind walk.
It might be fun to reverse it. have Jayne take a walk in rivers mind and see what made her the moonbrain she is. what made simon so special, even if he is a boob. what lead River to refer to Mal as captain daddy etc.
Just an idea.
I would probably right it my self but i'm more of a story line muse than an actual writer
