Okay, I was going to wait to comment when I got finished poking through all your stories, but this one...caught my eye. As another person who lives in Louisiana, I felt the need to comment on this particular one.

I think that these two are the perfect personification of the attitude that many people who live here have. It made me laugh, made me smile, and it also brought a tiny lump to my throat. I think this one is my favorite of your little ficlets here.

This chapter was interesting. It shows that Gojyo's mother actually has a soft side to her and that she's not all that bad... :D

Oh reminds me of the narrator in Fight Club.
I think its a good intospective, I mean you are right she is portrayed in one way, it was good reading a different side.

i never thought of their mother that way, but it makes sense. I think i prefer seeing her as a mother that lost her mind than as a woman who really hated Gojyo...
