Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 18,	abuseI agree that Harry's is making progress towards becoming a stronger person, but I hope you don't feel that he has to sacrifice his gentle kindness to do so. I like this Harry so much. The canon path makes sense (naive --> troubled --> angsty and angry --> understanding, wisdom and acceptance), but it is so painful to read -- and surely not everyone has to go that way. I also hope that someone has the sense to explain to Harry why they're distancing themselves.

I'm rather fond of this mild-mannered Harry, but I hope he won't get burned too badly when other students start to manipulate him. Hopefully he'll take Remus into his confidence and the man will make sure he won't get hurt.
Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 13,	abuseThis is interesting. I wonder if you are trying to make a point by throwing all of Harry's canon friends into other houses. Are you trying to show that Harry's close friendships are the result of choice and not pure circumstance, and that even if they didn't meet on the train, weren't sorted into the same house and such, they would have eventually become friends anyway?
Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 11,	abuseO_O O_O O_O Well, setting aside Ron, since you obviously want him there, why are neither Hermione and Neville sorted to Gryffindor? For those two, nothing really changed in this storyline.
Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 10,	abuseI'm glad they decided to tell Harry so much of the truth, including the prophecy. Certainly this Harry seems mature and wise enough to handle it, despite being only 11. I also liked how you depicted Harry's reaction, and Remus' confident words to him.
Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 9,	abusePoor Harry ... I do hope Remus stays around Hogwarts while Harry is a student. And I think Minerva brought up an excellent point when she said, "We can't seem to win." There are bad scenarios, and then there are worse ones. It can't really be perfect unless Voldemort is out of the picture, and they just have to make the best choices they can.

Viridian 2007-11-25 ch 5,	abuseAn altogether delightful chapter, seeing various characters interact one on one with each other. As much as I love seeing Harry and Remus together, you have a special knack for Dumbledore-Harry scenes that just have me going, "Aw!"
