yay!you finally updated!This story is so interesting it just makes me want to read more and more. I really like the little thing with the cat's name being Church from pet semetary, very clever. And I like the flashbacks from Herbert's past to the present, giving a little more info on what made him the way he is. I really hope this will be updated soon.

I really enjoyed reading this, particularly noticing the little changes you made. Herbert’s denial/attraction to Dan is very clear, as is the reason behind his panic with the prostitute...both scenes making almost the same point, but in diametrically opposite ways; I just now noticed how you structured that, very clever and it works well.
The conversation between Dan and Herbert at the end… “Herbert flashed Dan an unpleasant smile. “Is she still lying there, hands on her chest, looking just as pretty as she did when she died?””

How come I can hear a very evil laugh in the back ground? I love this peace. I can't wate to see where you are going with it.

This is a very interesting story, i'm really looking forward to what will happen next.
