You know, the show jerked us Josh/Donna shippers around for years then we get what, 10 minutes in the last episode? THAT was why I turned to fan fiction about a month ago, I wanted the happy ending, the happily ever after I couldn't get from the show.

I'm sorry you don't feel you can write Josh and Donna a happy ending. I'm disappointed. VERY disappointed. I'm sorry I read this and became emotionally invested in the story only to have my heart ripped out and stomped on, just as it was by the writers of the show.

I thought in Fan Fiction I would be able to find the happy ending. I was wrong, and it makes me sad.

Why not just have Donna kill herself. It would be a lot less cruel than what you're doing to her. As if the West Wing writers hadn't been cruel enough with Mandy, Amy, Joey, and the other women, now you have to have him ask one of his "you know whats" to MOVE IN? Josh never asks a woman to move in, he will move heaven and earth to keep them from moving in...

Just let Donna die and end her misery, and then maybe Josh will realize what he had all the time and let go of because of his stupid blindness. Donna was his for the asking, but he never asked, and he broke her heart.

As for why Donna left? On the show it was because C.J. (remember her, Donna's "friend"?) told Donna to cut Josh from her life both professionally and personally, told her to go out and basically wh-re herself out to a bunch of random guys to get Josh out of her system. Which is WHY the photojournalist was there when Josh got to Germany, and WHY it took 2 MORE years for Donna and Josh to get Donna/Josh back after C.J.'s oh so helpful "advice".

So go ahead with your Josh and Kim, but you're killing Donna and quite a few Josh/Donna shippers.

OMG, OMG I thought for sure they would end up together after everything that has happened... You definetely do a sequel with them hopefully reuniting... Great story...

I think I got over the shock already, really, your fic does make a lot of sense, it does explain why Donna left.

Wow, this chapters were sad, but the worst is that they are realistic, Donna would do something like this, I just hope that you will write a sequel, maybe beginning after the beer scene in "2162 Votes".

I love it. It's great to see a non happy ending for JD. Sometimes it just isn't meant to be.

Hm it’s sad that Donna can’t be happy that Josh wants to be with her. I want something romantic to happen, but I also want everyone in the WW to know that its going to happen (by helping Josh maybe..) or seeing him declare his love for her…. I dunno.

Just write more and I’ll be happy. I know that you’ll give JD the happy ending they deserve and then start on a new story right away. :P
