That was terrible. First of all, no one who was deeply in love with a person would take the fact that they're getting married *that* calmly. They would fight it. This is the point where, no matter what effect it would have on their parents, they tell them the truth- not go and get married because some betrothal papers "conveniently" pop up. Fan fic is rarely realistic, but this was ridiculous.
