Promise Keeper
2006-03-06 . chapter 9
“Wouldn’t it…” She wasn’t even given the chance to finish, Kyou had yelled back:
“NO!” She wanted them to renew their wedding vows but they did it once and Kyou seemed to find that enough.

Favorite line, by far. Got a smile from me right off the bat. A very Kyou-ish thing you wrote there. I liked the descriptions of the wedding dress and the whole day, really. And Kyou's last line was great! I like the mention of Kazuma having takent he picture, too. Great chapter!

The whole Kyou and Kagura section at the end was just squee-worthy! I loved his nervousness when he was telling her his feelings, and her reactions to them. But my favorite part had to be when she said she still loved him and his reply was "You bloody well better." Loved it, loved, it, loved it! Great chapter!

The flashback into the time when the others learned about their curses was a nice touch (although your italics ran a couple of paragraphs longer than I think you meant them to). At least they weren't alone when they found out and something like that might actually be easier to learn when you're younger. Poor Kison still really needs a friend.

Nice chapter!

I like how sensitive Haku seems; that he's feeling bad and being worried about Kison. Now I'm curious as to what possible twists are coming next. Everytime I think I know where you're headed, you throw something new at me so I'm hesitant to guess anymore, since I'm usually wrong, lol. Anyway, nice chapter!

I don't know if you meant it or not, but the droll humor in that last line was great! I liked the explanation for Kison's powers but I think the parents should definitely have to explain more about why they were kept apart for so long. Good job!

Ah, what happened? What happened? You've got me really hooked now! I thought the whole calming effect would be the extent of her powers, but apparently there's something more. Good chapter and looking forward to the next one!

Wow. I was kind of thinking that this would be a basic retelling of the original plot only with the original characters kids. Now we have a missing Akito, the smaller families being kepr secret from each other, "powers" that aren't active yet but might become so . . .This is getting interesting! Keep up the good work!

It was cute to read about Haru and Rin being married with a little boy. I like the idea of focusing on both the parents and the kids; it'll be great to read about the lives of the adults after they got married. Most fics stop at that point, carrying on from that moment is more unique and there's a lot of potential there. Nice chapter as always!

Kyou and Kagura being married and having a little girl. ::squeals at the cuteness:: This was a nice little look into the normal parts of their life. Kyou humoring his daughter was so sweet and Kagura knocking him upside the head was something I'd bet happens a lot in that house. I'm interested in seeing what the others' lives are like and where the fic is going plotwise. A nice start; keep up the good work!

I'm assuming it's okay to host this on Neko Ino?
