I only read this story for the Highlander crossover, as I know nothing about Les Miserables but it's very confusing. Is Methos the guy that Javert called?

It's nice up to this point. Where are the wuotations in chapter 10 from? But I must admit, I'm rather confused. What's the "Game"? This whole thing with the Immortals, is it your idea or is it based on some book/film/anything else, I could read/watch for better understanding? Oh, there might be an easier thing for better understanding: You continuing this... maybe... sometimes... There is always hope...

And, lo and behold, there is originality! Wonderful idea, this crossover, even if it's not the first thing that comes to mind (but that's what makes it special and all the more likeable, now, isn't it?). The dialogue, descriptions, and characterizations make the story believable, which is something that I would consider to be extremely difficult when concerning these two fandoms (how can you make something this challenging seem so easy?). And now you're probably enfuriated because none of my reviews leave you any sort of constructive criticism. Terribly sorry, but I couldn't find anything to criticise; it was just that good!

No! A cliff-hanger! Litterally! Well, needless to say, I would like to know what happens next. I've rather enjoyed the story so far ^_^

Great chapter! Although, I was confused at first.
Is this Javert's first death? And is Valjean already an Immortal? V. excited to see what comes next.

“Check out how he’s going at that icey," smirked Javert. "He’s not so much eating it as giving it a **.”

*giggles* that line just totally cracked me up. I'm starting to piece together what it is going on in the AU and what the world is like, but it's still a little vague. It sounds really interesting, though! I can't wait to see what happens!

Excellent backstory, an apt cliffhanger.

A beautiful way to end Thanksgiving. Eagerly awaiting more, and though I'm loathed to admit it, it's rather nice to see Valjean in some semblence of control. He's played a great straight man to Javert but it's fun to see him in play.

so...when's the update? ::innocent smile::

Well, that was different. Nice job with the dialogue. Again, very natural, very in character.

A question: Is Javert immortal at this point, or does he die and become so? I suppose this'll be answered later. ;)

I await updates with great interest.

Well, that was different. V. dramatic & nicely done - glad we're getting a bit of history thrown in. Very curious as to what happens next.

Splendid story. Read it once without reviewing, then read it again and submitted this. The dialogue between Javert and Valjean seems perfectly natural; just two friends bantering. Utterly irresistable.

One small note: I couldn't help but picture Javert as a woman in this chapter. Maybe it was the biker outfit thing. Then again, maybe I'm just weird.

Agree with the re-post - dialogue & general flow of this chapter is much better. Adios to the mushroom soup! :)

M. Canned mushroom soup under the sink? Sign me up for some of that.

I had a little bit of a problem at the beginning of the phone conversation figuring out who was speaking, but it all straightened out.

The boys seem to be doing quite a bit of hurry up and wait, aren't they? That's not criticism, just an observation. It's actually quite interesting to see two "men of action" as they are in the book just sitting around having to deal with someone else's time frame.
