I read this story dozens of times and I loved it. This is the greatest story. please do sequel. Another thing if you make your own story into a novel, I would buy it. Keep up the good work.

<3 It isn't often that I read a story that impresses me to the point where I just HAVE to review it, but I'd have to say this is one of them. It has a well thought out plot, introducing the kid was done in a believable way not just 'hey they need a kid and BLAMO magic here he is'. The relationship is sweet and keeps the tension there instead of just dismissing it as unimportant. Nice.

Okay okay, I'm so **. I typed a really long review out for all chaps but it got lost when my com disconnected... Anyway, I just wanted to say that you should be posting the sequel real soon before I die of suspense! Pretty please?!

In point form since I really don't want to type out everything again, I loved:

-Trish's characterisation.
-Your crafting of Rune (cause he was so awesomely Dante- kinda like a guideline not to craft a weirdo ne?)
-Vergil's badass side in one chapter
-Vergil's overprotectiveness
-Dante's backfired joke (about the head or the ** one)

Problems were:
-Presence of OCs, Rune was good but as most OCs do, it displaced Vergil's character, which was why I thought Vergil's intial characterization was better.
-Emotions changed too fast.
-How could you get Dante raped?! I was crying damnit!! (Okay, this isn't a problem point- more like a score point)

Overall I think you did great, though Vergil was a tad too talkative. Please write more!!

I wanted to read the whole thing before I reviewed, sorry. But this's awesome. I'm sure Dante'll miss demon slaying a little, but hey...Rune needs to learn about it, like his dad(s). Awesome fanfic, too. I was playing Devil May Cry and decided to look up some stories on it and I'm glad I did ^-^
I added this to my favs as well, so awesome. I should make a DMC fanfic...this story got me so excited! Anyway, if there is a sequel...I'll deffinately read it!! Good luck!

ha another fun fact: When I read the 'you might wanna lock your doors' the T.V. in the background said "Viewer Discretion Is Advised." Almost died laughing.

Hey I know I'm here writing a review some years after your published work, but I need to say that this is the BEST DantexVergil story ever! You have a great writing style with the action and humor. And btw, I love the scenes with Vergil and Dante! It was soo delicious--fantastic job on everything! Yay!

Oh my that was such a beautiful story. Every chapter kept me in suspense, and I enjoyed every moment of it. You write beautifully, and you really know how to plan a plot.

I love reading stories where Vergil is the true graceful hero, because that's how I see him in the games!
