| fiery frost 2007-09-15 ch 13, | abuseThis was a brilliant story. It kept very true to the spirit of the original, with it's looks at what characters are like behind their facades. Great work:) |
| Rei Asakura 2007-06-26 ch 13, anon. | abuseAmazing and anguished, brilliant. |
| fangirl0510 2007-01-26 ch 13, | abuseI love it! Thank you |
| TheWonderfulThingAboutTigge... 2006-10-31 ch 1, | abuseLast time I read this story, I forgot to leave a review but...O.M.G. Its still as heart wrenching as ever. ^^ |
| moira2 2006-07-26 ch 13, | abuseoh my god, that was incredible. you've written such a wonderful, inspiring story, with so many shades of dark and light and such depth of _character_. the way you've portrayed the complexities of asaba's personality, arima's descent into darkness and up again, yukino's innate strength and sheer determination--oh my god. i so idolize you and your writing style and skill with characterization. you should write more and more and more...maybe even a screenplay that you can send to hollywood or something. i don't know, i'm rambling, but i really, really idolize you, what can i say? |
| nodaaaaaa 2006-06-23 ch 13, | abuseBeautiful. |
| Jen 2006-05-14 ch 13, anon. | abuseonce i started reading, i couldn't stop. you made asaba into a real person! |
| Rowan23 2006-05-10 ch 1, | abuseI really enjoyed reading this fic. It certainly would explain Asaba's behavior throughout the series. And I particularly like the ending, when Asaba meets HIS Arima, and his happy ending, at last. Thanks for all of your hard work. |
| Mika-chan 2006-04-26 ch 13, | abuseThis was absolutely beautiful. The details you put into this story were incredible, so raw at times it really got your points across, including the emotions you wanted to convey. I think for the majority of the time, while reading this story, there's been a big lump in my throat. Asaba is such a deep and interesting character and I felt that he never got the attention he deserved in the manga, or Tsuda-san just didn't have the time to invest in him. I wasn't certain how you would end this story, if you would try to fit it to what happened in the manga, but was very, very satisfied with what you did. The ending was very hopeful and bringing in Reiji in the end completely blindsided me. It was so perfect. Needless to say, I really enjoyed reading this story. I don't read Karekano fics, but I am SO glad I read this one. The effort you put into writing from Asaba's POV was amazing. I'm still in awe :) Wonderful job! |
| Requiem For The Innocent 2006-04-10 ch 7, | abuseThis have to be the best T-rated fic I have ever read. |
| SmexySarah 2006-02-26 ch 13, | abuseI completely love your ending. No, it's not exactly happy but then again, it's not exactly sad either. It's a little bitter sweet but filled with promise at the same time. I applaud you on your writing style and depth into the characters. I was drawn directly into their emotions. Now, my day begins with hope as does Asaba's. 1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 kudos to you. |
| x.o.x.lizz.x.o.x 2006-02-25 ch 13, | abuseAh! That was so beautiful. I loved reading your story. It often moved me to tears. The ending was great and oh so moving. Thank-you! |
| kashuneko 2006-02-25 ch 13, anon. | abuseWhat a lovely ending! I never considered that as a possibility. It would be absolutely lovely for Reiji and Asaba to both find happiness. |
| Vain Girl 2006-02-25 ch 13, | abuseThank you for sharing this gorgeous story, I've certainly enjoyed reading it! I'm reading the manga in English, so I don't know if this happened in the actual text, but I always wanted Asaba to meet Reiji. I get the feeling they would indeed hit it off. |
| coffee_high 2006-02-25 ch 13, anon. | abuseIt's such an awesome story. I love it how you did it in Hideaki's P.O.V. It's so different. This isn't the last chapte is it?? I hope not. Or you could do a sequal. Like in Suichiro or Yukino's P.O.V. It's absolutely awesome. ^^ Full marks. |
