Ea Ailill 2009-03-28 . chapter 4Very good- you are an excellent poet. |
UberRandom 2009-03-27 . chapter 4Hey, i really liked these lullibies!
they suited their respective nations perfectly
...although the fire nation one did seem a little hitler'ish |
Ardala91 2009-03-24 . chapter 4I liked this one, especially the fifth stanza. Somehow that seems perfectly fitting. Of course the whole song seemed that way to me! :) I liked your idea for this series for it was individual and creative. I have to say I liked the one you created for the Water Tribe lullaby the best. They were all great though! |
angstkitten 2009-03-23 . chapter 4okay, i just read all the poems again, to pick a favorite. this is really hard to choose, because they are all really good. i think they're all amazing in their own ways.
the fire one is very war-oriented, obviously, and so it's dark and not really lullaby-material, which makes it even more attractive, because it's something "normal people" wouldn't feed their infants.
the water lullaby was pretty. i liked the way it talked about the animals and the different types of water (rain, snow, ocean). it was very different from the fire one, which was about the people and war.
the air lullaby was interesting, too. i can see it as something aang grew up with and would pass along.
the earth piece, however, is probably my favorite. i really liked the imagery in all of them, but the relation between the singer, the child, and the earth was very profound and different.
great job on all of them. i left some suggestions in an 'anonymous' review, and maybe you'll take those into consideration. perhaps different regions of the earth kingdom, as well? like kyoshi lullabies or something. oh well. this was a great little collection, and if you continue it, i'll read it.~ |
Darkfire 2009-03-23 . chapter 4 Awesome! Love them all. Since you wanted votes, my favourite would have to be Fire. But they are all awesome. You are very talented. I know you've now done all the elements, but if you could post more poems (though for what element I don't know) I would be very happy indeed. You rock! :)

angstkitten (not logged in) 2009-03-23 . chapter 4 i really liked this one too! i'm not sure about a favorite, yet... i'll reread them and try to pick one later. for now, just know that i really like them all, particularly the earth one. i would be interested to see more, but i'm not sure what others you could do. possibly a north- or south-pole specific lullaby? or non-benders? or the different air temples? anyway, just suggestions. i'll come back later with a vote for my favorite.~ |
angstkitten 2009-03-10 . chapter 3great job! these poems are very pretty, and i'm looking forward to the last one. i'm tempted to try to put these to music, but i'm not sure how that would go. if i do, i'll probably post them on youtube, with credit and links to you.~ |
FeatherClaw of Windclan 2009-03-10 . chapter 2This one was good, too. BTW, in the last review I got fire and air mixed up. o_O |
FeatherClaw of Windclan 2009-03-10 . chapter 1WOW. That was really good, I think it really fit the personality of the air nomads. |
Darkfire 2009-03-10 . chapter 3 Amazing. The Fire poem was the best so far in my opinion but Water and Air are great too. Much better than anything I could ever come up with. You're very talented :) Update ASAP please. I'm looking forward to Earth.

Ardala91 2009-03-10 . chapter 3I like this series you have for child lullabies. They are all well written and quite realistic I think for any of those nations. My personal favorite so far is the one of the Water Tribe! |
icecreamlova 2009-03-01 . chapter 2What makes this fic so great is the stunning contrast between water and fire. I don't read poems, and this is my first on , but it was awesome. |
