Thanks for the answers from my previous review. The idea with Hinako's energy drain was more for humour purposes than a way to fight the jellsters.

I noticed how you are focusing on how the aspects about being a mew mew seem to be more familiar to Nabiki. It's a rather unique plot idea, I imagine you're going to try and explain the exact reason why those only those select few girls can become mew mews and the exact reason why the certain type of animal genes bonded with them.

I think you timed the lock on jusenkyo cursed people and Nabiki in mew form very well. It was just the right time in the story for a new major conflict to arise because several of the other events were becoming a bit routine for the cast, like fighting the enemy of the day, running from a bunch of pursuers. So Cologne might know who Nabiki really is, or it could be a simple familiarity. I could see Akane trying to pick that fight in the near future since Nabiki is locked and therefore is more likely to be found in mew form because she cannot simply change back after the need for it is done.

Well nice work this time, the plot is beginning to develop quite a bit more. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Note: Ki and Chi seem to be the same thing in this story, however I am more used to saying ki, so when I make referneces to ki in this review it means the same thing as chi.

Nice chapter. The development about Ranma makes a lot of sense, while he can't hurt the monsters he can still slow them down and try to prevent others from getting hurt. I think he'd try to remain involved no matter what the situation because of his nature to try and protect others and just overall stubborness. His interest with the mew fox is also a good reason to keep hanging around the mew mews when there is trouble. An interesting plan might be to have the mew mews fight the jellsters and during that time while the jellster creator is watching the fight Ranma goes after them to try and stop them once and for all. This would probably work due to the fact that as far as I know the creator of the jellsters cannot absorb ki and unless their some insanely good fighter or can summon a truckload of jellsters on the spot (which I'd doubt due to the fact that they would have done it by now otherwise)Ranma could easily kick their but.

Akane is still in pursuit of the fox girl as well to prove her stregth. I think that you should develop this idea a bit more soon, because it is becoming a reoccuring theme that is going no where. If left alone for too long it will start to look like some cheesy cliche. A few ideas would be to have Akane try to pursue the fox girl on her own, a confrontation that odesn't really result in anything because Nabiki runs away or her requesting help from someone else. She could ask the other fiances who might view her as a threat to their relationship with Ranma. Ask Ryouga for help, he'd be harder to notice in pig form so he might be able to see or overhear something randomly, and while Akane does not know about his curse he could use it anyways and he wouldn't have to explain exactly how he got the info.

The fact that their bio-energy/ki changes answers my question about ki signatures. I hope that you come up with a more detailed analysis and explanation for that in the future, like when Ryou finishes his analysis on it. The metting with some of the old TMM cast came right on time. It is always amusing to watch people from outside of Nerima learn about the wierdness there.

Okay new ideas for techniques to hurt jellsters:
1. Try the Hiryu Shoten Ha. It might not work if the jellsters don't give off any ki, but I think that they do given your last explanation on how they absorb it. It would seem logical to think of them as an energy based being given a semi-physical form. Hiryu Shoten Ha does not always need an opponent to be angry or in a strong emotion, that just makes it stronger due to a greater mass of hot chi. The Hiryu Shoten Ha is not a direct blast of ki, it instead causes an energy transformation where that energy is turned into a tornado. Because it is not a pure form of ki the jellsters would not be able to absorb energy from it (I cannot see them sucking in pure bio-energy from a tornado. Can you? haha). Ranma has also created different versions of it without having to use an opponents hot ki, like when he tried to get Akane to the dragon tap and used a version of it with only his own energy to suck the water up to her instead.

2. Have Ranma learn a new elemental type ki attack. I've read fanfics where Ranma figures out a way to affect the natural world around him using ki, so he can use techniques based on elements like fire, wind, water, ice, etc. This idea is supported in many ways in the Ranma 1/2 anime and manga. The Hiryu Shoten Ha manipulates hot and cold ki to create a tornado(wind maniplulation), Saffron uses a bunch of fireballs during their fight and Cologne's manipulation of water during the fight for the pheonix pill. Like my earlier explanation for the Hiryu Shoten Ha, these techniques involve transforming energy into another form or manipulating something else around them and therefore the jellsters would not be able to absorb ki from them. The most common type of element manipulation technique I've seen in fanfictions is an ice technique which is a variation of the Soul of Ice technique Ranma uses for cold ki during the forming stages of Hiryu Shoten Ha.

3. Try having Hinako use her energy drain, the Happo Five-Yen Satsu on the jellster's and see what the results are.
