I liked the idea. The thing is that the characters never seemed to relax. And there were too many new characters introduced too quickly that forgot who they were. But other then that I enjoyed it!

Cute Toy Story references. Good writing for the most part, however, I just feel that it is lacking in some of the important things that make BLoSC: the interaction between the characters, the comedy, ect. Military life is not all shooting, drills, and what not. It does have a lighter side and I think that needs to be explored.

What happened to the real characters in the story? I've just seen the other characters. Was th the ones that you made up or something? I don't know. Well anyways. Next time, just put the real characters in the story and It will be more intresting.
