Wow, what a one-shot! Poor Caden. I don't know how she even managed to finish their phone conversation. I'd be bawling hysterically and would probably have hung up immediately after his answer.

I think what I like most about this story is that, even though it's so sad and there's emotional upheaval, there's a kind of stillness to it, like the peaceful sounds of that song. Good job!
