THis was AWESOME! You take on how Slytherin had been treated really helped me because I was having the same one. It was like cannon had made them a self full filling prophacy wasn't it? I like Harry having to resurect Slythern house. Little Harry was Snape's second chance, wasn't it? Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.

Genius! Pure genius! Never have I read a fanfic so touching. I really like your style of writing. I liked the way you portrayed the Sytherins and how people only look at half of the story and believe only what they want to believe.

Everybody hails Harry but nobody really looks at the people standing behind him, the people who sacrificed their lives for him to live. Most people just like him for the fact that James was his father and that he was the Boy Who Lived and i like the end where Hagrid saves another Severus in making and the line. 'You didn’t forget your friends, no matter who they’d been.'

Keep up the good work!

I discovered this through another story I am reading: Of Ordinary Wizards by Delaine. Such a very sad tale! I love that it's written from the pov of Hagrid.

I truly think that the cruelest Dumbledore ever was was when he made Snape vow to kill him.

I realised Snape was going to die in your story so I prepared myself for that. What I wasn't ready for was Hermione's very cold, clinical detachment as she burned Snape's body, and Hagrid crushed his bones. Horrid, to say the least.

At least there is no grave for anyone to revile.

A very interesting story.

I liked the way you handled the plight of Slyterin House, and McGonagall's observations about that. I was glad when (in canon) Harry truly realised the worth of the House he'd reviled for far too long.

I found the scene with Hagrid and Hermione destroying Snape's features very poignant, though obscene - not just in what they were doing, but all the more because they had to do it.

An Unknown Soldier tomb is surely the most appropriate grave for Snape, too, though he always deserved more.

I liked this story and was especially touched by the beginning, when Hagrid and Snape meet in the rain, and then the folded blankets and hangover potions Snape leaves before he disappears. Interesting thoughts about Slytherin, Gryffindor and favouritism, and the treatment of Slytherin House. I like that you let us see this from Hagrid's point of view and I can't help but thinking that Snape would have needed someone like Hagrid.

Aw, that was awesome. I haven't seen too many fics with Hagrid as a central character, but it seemed like the right way to go with this one. awesome characterization and development!

I liked the PoV being Hagrid. Most touch part was Snape wishing someone had love for him.

Good. Always nice to see something from Hagrid's point of view, and I'm glad Severus rests well. It would be better with his name, but some things won't happen.

I started tearing up early in the story, but I completely lost it when the Sorting Hat cried, and then wept through the rest of the story. Beautiful job. Poor Professor Snape.

Wow, your have brought up so many interesting questions and problems to think about and attitudes to address - when I was finished, my head was swimming... maybe it was a bit much for a single oneshot?

Wow, what a good story. It had such a sad, nostalgic feeling to it. Better-written than most. I liked that it was all from Hagrid's POV - very unusual.

Thank you for this lovely piece, I can see this happening, and I love Severus and Hagrid is such a sweet soul with room in his heart to forgive, even someone whom he knew had killed his mentor whom was like a father and whom he loved as such, but he also knew who Severus really was, and I thought it was sad the was Harry was, but then again he was a Gryffindor, hehe. Anyways, I'm running late, but I meant to review this before now, but I hadn't had the time and was going through some of my favorites and cleaning up my history and just thought I would let you know how much I really really enjoyed this story/one-shot! It tells so much and yet it also says so much without saying it at the same time. You have such a talent and I just also wanted to thank you for sharing and contributing so much, especially on a site that has gone to the wolves in a lot of ways, though there are still some gems if you know where to look! Like you for example and your stories, and though I don't tend to like one-shots I really really loved reading this one and really enjoyed the sneaky way that Hagrid was able to help out Severus and fulfill his promise and allowing him to rest in peace, and I thought it was justified the writing on his tombstone! Thank you yet again, and if I had the time I would go in more detail, but as it is I'm running late to class and need to go, but thanks for sharing and thank you so much for including this one, and the bit at the end with Trewlany was just hilarious! 'And it didn't even rhyme! hehe
Ciao'
