CaptainSammish 2007-05-19 . chapter 5It's been awhile since you've published so you're probably not still doing this, but I enjoyed reading it. I'd like to see Wesley done, and Spike. |
angel-cordy 2005-09-08 . chapter 5That was good. Keep up the good work. |
Lindseyiswicked 2005-08-18 . chapter 5Good chapter! I have to say I think you captured Lindsey really well! can't wait for you're next update! |
Kara 2005-08-18 . chapter 4 Yeah. Knox wasn't evil, so much as a little insane.
Maybe it was good that he put Illyria in Fred, 'cause I think Fred's personality was affecting Illyria and making her care more. I'm pretty sure they (the writers of Angel) were going to explore that if they had had a 6th season... |
Melanthe Vida 2005-08-18 . chapter 5This chapter was interesting. I think you did do Lindsey justice here.
Can't blame you for wanting to put in that last quote, either. ;) |
ShinodaBear 2005-08-18 . chapter 5You updated sooner than I expected! Yea! *Does Snoopy Dance* I have to admit, I've only seen Season 5, so I only know Season 5 Lindsey and the little I managed (or wanted) to read. But, to me, this was still great. I don't think LIndsey was about good and evil. He was a lawyer. :) You hit the nail on the head with the power thing. And I like your (his) insight into Angel. Great job. I can't wait to see who's next. Maybe Eve? I don't know. There are too many characters that deserve their own little piece! |
Imzadi 2005-08-18 . chapter 5I think you've got Lindsey down pretty well, although I do think there might have been some reference to Darla. He really did love her, and the fact that Angel used her & then discarded her has to rankle. Other than that, I think this is just great. It was always about the power, and I could see in Season 2 ("Darla," to be exact) that he was beginning to realize he was being used. Actually he went to Nepal, but he may have been many other places. I think you're right about why he joined in the final battle. He wanted to get back at W&H for everything they did to him. Good chapter. Excellent, in fact. |
SquirlyForSpike 2005-08-17 . chapter 5Not overly familiar with Lindsey but given the way he was in season five, I'd say you were spot on. Great job. Sometimes the quickies are the best ones. |
ShinodaBear 2005-08-17 . chapter 4I think this captured Knox beautifully. I like how you put in the dead grandfather. That was a nice touch. And I never really saw him as evil, but just dedicated to his cause, to his god. And he did love Fred in a strange way. Great piece. I can't wait to see who you come up with next. |
Imzadi 2005-08-17 . chapter 4In the television series Brimstone, which didn't last long enough, Detective Ash (Teri Polo) was revealed as one of the escapees from Hell. She had been an ancient priestess who had sacrificed her daughter to her god, the greatest honor she could give her child. This is how I see what Knox did to Fred. He believed that he was showing her love & honor by choosing her as the vessel for Illyria. It's a shame he lost his faith in God so young, though. Again, nicely done. I hope you choose to do Lindsey soon. . . |
Imzadi 2005-08-17 . chapter 3After a while Gunn did seem to become just the muscle, so i can understand why he wanted to keep his enhanced intelligence & knowledge. It's too bad that his price was a little help in the plan that ended up destroying Fred. Again, a very nice story. |
Imzadi 2005-08-17 . chapter 2I have to agree with Harmony that Angel didn't always treat her with the respect she deserved. She grew a lot and did a good job for him. I think you've caught her pretty well. Nice. |
Imzadi 2005-08-17 . chapter 1I think you've captured Illyria's thoughts pretty well, and it's well written, too. Very nice. |
Lindseyiswicked 2005-08-17 . chapter 4Good knox perspective. I never really thought he was evil! Can't wait for the next one, you're characterizations are perfect! |
SquirlyForSpike 2005-08-17 . chapter 4Brilliant. I would never thought of Knox even though I met and now adore Jonathan Woodward. He is quite crazy. It was a marvelous character study. Thanks. |
