Telcontar Rulz 2009-10-06 . chapter 7Is this story ever going to be finished? I'm really enjoying it and I would love to see some of the other historical characters appear. This is a brilliant piece unlike any I've read. |
Artemis1000 2008-07-31 . chapter 7This is so funny! I love this story and all the characters. You have a really great plot, it's brilliant!
This is… major sabotage!
*lol* |
Cruel Irony 2008-05-30 . chapter 7Oh I like this! Please keep writing! |
Jedi Knight Padme 2006-01-07 . chapter 7LOL! This is hilarious! I'm just newly introduced to KoH, but now it's my favourite movie of all time! Historical inaccuracies aside, it rocks!
I know so far that this story has to do with the Europeans being killed off, but do you think somehow or another you could slip in Salahhudin and the Mullah?
Update soon! :D |
Sweet A.K 2005-11-01 . chapter 7Oo this is stange... *Laughs* but oddly amusing! Almost too funy, if that is possible! Very good! Update again soon!

Baldwin's Lady 2005-09-13 . chapter 7Good heavens, Doc, you are brilliant! This is so funny in some ways and yet... it is sad to think that even as a... ghost(? Un-dead... man?) Baudouin would still be a leper. The poor lad never gets lucky. |
 zan189 2005-09-12 . chapter 7This is SO good!
Finally it all falls into place, and I understand what exactly he (and his family, too) are doing.
To think of the Boatman as a soft man who will let you cross with a return ticket when you're nice to his dogs... very cute!
I am so falling for your lovely, old, and dead main character! |
Rayakina 2005-09-07 . chapter 7 Another interesting and highly entertaining chapter! And Baudouin plays a role, too! :-D Nice explanation for the dwarf accident, btw. It was my nephew’s idea. He wrote the programme when he heard that they were making his mother poison him in the film. He’s just a child - you can imagine how that distressed him! Baudouin wasn’t happy about it, either. Neither am I... I like the little revenge on Richard (and it doesn't surprise me that you have woven it into your story). I am looking forward to the three Kings of Orient! |
Redone 2005-09-06 . chapter 7 Fritz!! Hahahaha!! That was lovely. In fact the whole thought that they're out there, and lurking in the net world, is very heartwarming. And as for Richard - naughty boy, Corrado, very very naughty! |
Red 2005-09-02 . chapter 6 Where oh where is the next chapter gone,
Corrado, Corrado, Corrado? |
Rayakina 2005-08-09 . chapter 6 finally I've read your story so far and I have to say that I like it very much. As you have already mentioned, this hero is quite different from Baudouin, but I think I might develop a liking for him, too. It's once again a very original approach and I like again how you manage to weave the 21th and the 12th century together.
I like how you introduce your hero with lots of little hints ( "he was unusually pallid. Deathly") about his true nature without really revealing too quickly the secret and I like very much the growing relationship with Rosa, especially when they are playing chess. Well, there's much dialogue in your story. Normally, this tends to crash me a bit but your dialogues are so witty and entertaining that I don't mind at all.
Well, seems I'm not very eloquent today with all my repetitions of "I like" (have a terrible headache), so I better go on with just some of my favourite quotes:
“'I know you wanted the King to be the main hero, but... It's a basic fact: leprosy isn't the most box-office friendly of disabilities.'"
- Well, perhaps he should have asked the right people...?
“'It’s nothing. An old injury. It’s all the sand in the air, irritating...' 'Lungs?'
- Oh, what a fine but a little nasty example of black humour (chuckles!)I love black humour...;-)
"'The Leper was exceptional!'"
- Oh, ...Can never be mentioned often enough :-D
"His eyes glinted. 'That depends on your definition.' "
- I think I'd prefer our definition and don't want to imagine what he might have in mind! ;-)
"She gulped. 'To be able to rest in peace?'
'What for?' He flashed his crooked-toothed smile. 'No, I'd just like a hand in setting these damn Spam-filters properly!'"
- I really like your style, so witty! A 12th century king dealing with the malices of 21th computers...he he...he seems doing quite bravely, though, at least better than I do.
I am looking forward to reading the next chapters! |
klytaemnestra 2005-08-07 . chapter 6Oo ... delightful. I'm really loving this. Sadly, I've been out of the loop lately helping a friend settle into her new apartment and just now got around to reading chapter 5 and 6.
I do love how you made a reference to Isabella's third husband worthy of a Darwin award ... though I am curious about the fourth and the fish. Care to enlighten me? ::laughs.::
And you said that dear Baldwin may yet make an appearance? I cannot wait. |
Redone 2005-08-07 . chapter 6LOL! The ending of the chapter was great! :) Anyway, I keep wondering what he's done, has he existed like this all these centuries or come up just recently? I don't even know why I want to know, I suppose that would help understand his character. How he is simultaneously at home in the Crusade era and in our era, but does not *feel* to me worn or stretched enough to have lived all those centuries... and yet he must have been about in our era long enough to feel so comfortable here... Hm. /stops rambling/ Not much of a review. Sorry. |
zan189 2005-08-07 . chapter 6I love Conrad and Rosa! Their interaction is very sweet.
And he must trust her a lot if he lets her in on his 'little' secret!
*winks* |
