There's something I like in particular about this story, and that's how the dream sequence is so like your writing that it's very difficult to tell if it's a dream until the story /tells/ you it is. Many a dream sequence just screams 'DREAM.' And it takes away the element of surprise. So this is very intriuging.

Also, this just embodies the feeling of when you just /know/ something but you can't explain it or even know how you know it. A very romantic notion, I loved it!

you know what i love about these challenge things you do? sometimes, i think they are even better than your longer stories, because they can mean different things to different people. short and to the point can grab you better than long and detailed, i think.
