| Youkomon 2005-07-27 ch 1, | abuse(wide eyes) I actually never thought of what would happen if Charmer had known Ranger before her sister was killed...I thought it was nice that you put a lot of fire and spit into her anger. It certainly made the situation more realistic and the mantra at the end showed that it took a great deal of effort on her part to actally turn away from him after her setting of her verbal volley of hate.A very thoughtful touch. I also thought you were quite right to end the fic after her emotional collespe as it makes the reader feel even more distressed seeing how much pain her actions have not only caused Ranger, but herself as well. All in all, well written. Oh, and I think this stands perfectally fine as a one-shot, prehaps taking place in an alternate universe or something, based on it's originality. |
