Pandora'sDarkDreamer 8/11/12 . chapter 1I have to say it is one of the best LOZ fan fictions I have ever read. I really liked the plot, especially the last part. Kudos to you :) |
oonagi 7/13/12 . chapter 1AGGGGH. that broke my heart. it actually beat faster in sections - when he kisses her, when he comes back and when he says 'maybe she stole his too...' and then it just shattered completely. you are one of the most talented authors i have ever had the pleasure of reading! amazing characters, perfect amount of angst without overdoing it, good plotline... oh my god! you're extremely talented! |
Babykoalaprincess 6/3/12 . chapter 1I read this oneshot a few years ago, and at first, I didn't like it because of the unhappy ending. However, now that I am older I appreciate the story more. I decided to re-read your story again because I remembered the plot line well and I was in the mood to give this another go. I love this story because it's very realistic for the Zelda and Link situation; Zelda is a princess and Link is a hero. As much as us Zelink fangirls/fanguys wish for the couple to happen, this is a very good take if things didn't work out. I love the bitter-sweetness to the story. It's a very tragic ending, but I like how the narrative is objective and tries to make the reader understand both Zelda's and Link's point of view for the relationship and why it didn't work out. I love the writing in this fic because it's beautifully written and I have strong images of the characters and the story you created. I have no criticism for you because it's an excellent oneshot which deserves praise. :D -BKP |
Eternal Nocturne 2/13/12 . chapter 1;_; This honestly makes every other angsty ZeLink fic look so inferior... Everything is written beautifully - and that's an understatement. It's especially sad when Zelda is forcibly married to a guy and has children, but probably doesn't love him at all. And Link is eternally restless. One part of me wants to believe that he doesn't seem to care about her since he's always leaving her; the other argues that he just doesn't know what to do with his undying sense of freedom and his love for Zelda. Great story; it was breathtaking. Definitely one of the best fanfics I've ever read. |
LinkLuver3 1/21/12 . chapter 1Wow. That was... Powerful. And extremely well-written. The angst was almost too much. It's quite sad, indeed. I love your descriptive words. They're quite amazing. XD I am so wowed that I cannot find the words to describe this. Keep on writing! |
Midnight Ghost 9/10/11 . chapter 1Oh my. This was wonderfully written, and the ending was really deep. :) Well written. |
Angelically Scarred 9/9/11 . chapter 1Wow, great job with this. It was terrific and I enjoyed the idea. |
corrinenichols 5/3/11 . chapter 1 oh, and this "her smile as brittle as the first dry leaf that drifts in through the open window" is an incredible metaphor :) |
corrinenichols 5/3/11 . chapter 1 This was really exceptional. The direction you took empowered Link in a way that is rarely done, but I really appreciate. Plus, it was incredibly plausible, and much more mature than most fanfiction, so I'm quite impressed. (I'm also pretty impressed at how much so little dialogue spoke- well done.) Overall, gorgeous. |
AtomicPineapples 12/14/10 . chapter 1Oh. My. Goodness. This is the most beautiful fanfiction I have ever read. It's amazing! I actually cried! The way you've written this is just brilliant! I can't compliment you enough! Please, write more! This is a phenomenal story! |
ForeverWanderer 11/9/10 . chapter 1BEAUTIFUL. So intense. Incredibly subtle. Great writing. Tragic. Zelda's despair and powerlessness are palpable. Thank you for the fantastic story! |
