Absolutely wonderfully written.

I read this a while back (at a different site I believe), and when I found a link again, I couldn't resist. I'm never too busy to re-read quality work. You have amazing talent for telling a story, please keep developing it.

I think I can honestly say that this is one of the best Snape/Harry stories that I've ever read, and the only one I've liked set post-HBP. Your interpretation of the horcruxes was brilliant, and I loved how you managed to keep everyone so nicely in character. (Your Voldemort, even though he was hardly seen, sent shivers down my spine.)

I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but you had me second-guessing and suspecting Remus all the way to the end. I'm glad that it was just a red herring (or my own baseless suspicion) but I thought that the spy issue was handled really well.

I also liked how you made the romance feel genuine, tender and slow-building, even though it took place in a relatively short space of time. It was very well handled, and you didn't let it take over from the horcrux/spy/defeat Voldemort plot in the slightest, which it often does.

In short, I thought 'Critical Choices' was wonderful; one of the best reads I've had in this fandom for a while, and I've added it to my favourites. Well done!
