I've just finished reading Faces and then found out about the sequel. I'm reviewing at this particular point because the Denise O'Leary quote in this chapter had me laughing so hard I fell out of my chair and gave myself a concusion after having my head banged against the tile floor. And I'm not just saying that either, I just got back from the emergency room. Not many writers can inspire this type of a reaction with me. I commend you for your quick and witty use of comedy throughout the Faces fics. Bravissimo! Oh, and by the way, I think that it is indredable brave of you to pair Zel and Sylph. I enjoy this couple as well, however, I realize the prejudices against it. You are totally spiffy. ^_^

OMG!!!! BEST FANFIC EVER!!!!!! I LOVE THOSE LITTLE CHIBIS!!!!!!!!!!

I already wrote all the reasons I like both these stories in my 'Slayers-Faces' review, so let me just expand a bit for this one...

If nothing else, this story is even better than 'Faces'. I can't count all the hilarious, memorable moments in it that had me laughing outloud. I think one of my fave parts was Gourry chased by all his pesky subconscious chibis. Naga was as hilarious as ever.

Once again, there is a recurrence of what I assume are elements of the Slayers movies, which I don't like (i.e. Jeffrey and Shadow Lina), but again they're not too intrusive, and provide a lot of comedy.

I am no fan of Xelloss+Filia, but you handled the plot development of their relationship well-- it was refreshing to see Filia growing emotionally instead of directly falling into Xelloss's arms as she does in so many other stories, which is completely contrary to her characterization... The whole Peak element of it was a bit of a plot machination, perhaps, but the relationship was a whole provided so much comedy that I didn't mind it- and it did not violate either character's personality, which was good. The addition of Amara was another rather artificial plot machination, but once again the comedy more than made up for it, and she's a convincing enough character.

Zel+Sylphiel is, once again, VERY well handled, and some of the plot twists involving them, especially towards the end, were really great.

All in all-- once again, great story. I can't wait to read the third installment.

Again, a compliment on the second part of the fic everyone was talking about which is also good.. like before... Keep it up. ^_^

How to laugh evilly for this master work. Should it be 'MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA'? No, I think it should be 'OH HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO'. Rock on, Naga, rock on. It's a good one, Dav. Now you just need a wee bit more solid ending.

This is, when all is said and done... the epitome of what a fan fic should be. Action, adventure, drama, humor, and some kick ** angst. God, gotta love that angst. Great job. This is without question my favorite fan fic of all time. Take a bow. And when your done... write the rest!!! ^_^

NO! Must have more! I NEED to know what'll happen! *cries and whines* Poor Sylphiel and Zelgadis! This is SO SAD!!!!!! *sniff* Oh well, I guess I can wait...patience is a virtue remember? ^o~ Loved it just as much as the first one!
