LOL! I like the added bit with Phillip Gillette and dear Lizzie! That was priceless. But I would like to say it would have been nice to have a chapter between 5 & 6 with the deleted scene 'Unconditional Request' (the best scene of the whole dang movie in my opinion!), where Elizabeth and Norrington discuss their engagement, and how Norrington kind of sees that she really does not love him and is using him. Oh, well! :o(

Lovely story! I like how you put a Norrington/Elizabeth spin on the first movie and it makes me really wish that her trail of thoughts had gone accorging to what you have written because I absolutely LOVE this pairing!

oh, quite interesting.

I'm on chapter five and so far I'm not impressed. I don't say this to be mean but all you have done is summarize the movie. If I wanted a summary of the movie, I'd go watch the movie.

So far you have added absolutely nothing new to this story, especially when almost all of the dialogue you have included comes directly from the movie, and yet you are calling it your own. Hmm. I'm hoping the last two chapters are better than the first five.

Like I said, I don't want to sound mean, but this isn't an original story thus far. It's you summarizing the movie.

It's not bad. In fact, it wasn't bad when the original writers wrote 90% of your story for the movie. I'm all for incorporating movie plot into stories, but seriously, when your entire story consists of you watching the DVD, pausing, typing, backing the dvd up, watching, pausing, typing, etc, then you can rest assured that it's not your story. You added very little to it, and certainly not enough to call the work yours.

That was so good! Please oh please oh please write a further chapter with the two conversations (maybe even a wedding) your style of writing is great, you have the characters down to a tea, and I would love to read more!

*applause* I love how you still left it open, but with a clear run to the intended ending.

I don't know if you meant to, but I appreciated the bit of a throwback to Emma. :) "But now she hoped to call him something infinitely more dear."

You did this all very well, very sweet, and very like Elizabeth; a lot of people don't like her or say she's boring, but I think she's more than just the stereotypical "modern" girl in a time period where it was rebelliousness. I think she was simply quietly intelligent, and therefore, she couldn't help speaking or acting out at times. But she could think and reason and weigh things. You portrayed that, besides what you meant to. THAT is what I appreciate. :)

Oh, I liked this a lot. This end was nice. I loved her dawning realization that James had been the center of her thoughts; the way you had all of the little scenes and snippets of her memory weave in and out through her memory was well written. Poor little Will, but happy Norrington. Good ol' Norry deserves a happy ending and you did a supreme job giving him one. I kind of wish we were privy to her conversations with the two men after the end, but leaving it to imagination is always great, too! I really enjoyed this story! It's different and it really added a wonderful backstory to everything!

PS - was the Emma line intentional? I loved it! Always thought that was one of the best lines from anything! It always gives my heart the warm fuzzies. : ) I'm adding this to my favourite stories!
