Nightkind 2007-08-07 ch 53,	abuse(After reading your profile.) I understand what you mean about having to go with a plausible ending, and really, it is perfect the way it is. Has it really been over two years? I have absolutely adored going on this journey with Marguerite and Erik, with so many ups and downs, twists and turns, smiles and tears. Your characters are so real, their thoughts and emotions and reactions being so complex. And throughout it all you have been able to keep the plot intriguing so that I hang on to the end of every chapter. It has been delightful to find a surprise e-mail now and again regarding an update to this story, and I always went straight to reading. It's sad to think I won't have anymore of those! But honestly, this is a pleasant ending and I feel that someday Erik and Marguerite will have their special kind of happily ever after. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us! On that note, from one aspiring author to another... If your novel ever gets published? Psh! I'll be checking your profile now and again to see when you've made the bestseller's list! ;)
surf with music 2007-08-06 ch 53,	abuseWow... you're done with part 2. Amazing. I loved it. The ending was a bit sad, even thought they kind of made up. It does give hope for a new and better future. Which I like. I can't believe you've still been working on this for so long. I think its been over 2 years since you've started the first one. What a long time ago. I liked the little speech of Henri's, and Erik's reaction to it. very good. Anyways, I'll look for other stories of yours to come! Good job again!

Mominator 2007-08-06 ch 53, anon.	abuseAck! "The End" already? But, but . . . :( As always, a wonderful chapter. As Marguerite was explaining to Henri her reasons for not running away with him, I realized that she had grown up. Yes, people have a tendancy to do that, but it was striking how much more maturely she was acting than she had earlier on in your stories. And I LOVED Henri's comments to Erik. Finally, someone stood up to Erik in a way that forced him to listen, even if it was not something he wanted to hear. Though he's not a character I care much for, I was rather proud of Henri. You've left us with so much to wonder about. Not so good for those of us who, in part, read because we don't have enough imagination to create stories for ourselves, but I suppose we'll manage. :D And, of course, it's sad that the story has reached its conclusion, but the saddest part is that this is the end of your fan fiction. There aren't many fanfic writers of your caliber so it's rather devastating to lose you. Ah, but Real Life beckons (or demands :D) and there are so many more important, REAL things out there - jobs, groceries, friends, chores, family . . . We'll miss you (I daresay, rather like Henri is going to miss Marguerite), but wish you the best. It won't be easy for Erik to get her back just like that, he damaged their relationship too much, he stayed away for too long... It is so very sad. But I still love reading it! ^_^ Keep it up please! Anon 2007-08-02 ch 52, anon.	abuseI agree with Marguerite. Except, if I were her, I would have left Erik by now. She deserves better that this...maybe even Henri. I'm hoping you don't end this with them accepting their fates by being in a loveless marriage. Give Marguerite and her children happiness; if need be, give Erik the peace of death. I just don't feel anything between them. Please understand that your writing is lovely, and I'm sorry if this review sounds harsh. This is a very believable scenario, that Erik is incapable of loving anyone else. You've been brave to almost suggest that E/OW does not amount to a happy ending. Personally, though, I feel that this relationship is too broken to be repaired.

I'm sad that this story will be over soon; I've become used to having something so brilliant to read.
