I am writing because I don't think I ever responded to the review you sent for the Wake. Thank you and I am writing to say, I do think this is a great peice of work. You let us feel with the characters, especially Sev's desperation. The C2 I keep is for the various incarnations of Severus' as the Dark Lord's second, from pre-HBP, it's a great read I am keeping an eye on your work.

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the fic, Snape/Regulus is one of my favourite pairings and I thought this was a very realistic depiction of the nature of their relationship.

Also the bit where Regulus dies is very chilling, poor thing! All in all, a really good fic. :)

Quite interesting from Severus Snape's perspective. Very sympathetic

I do so love this ficlet!! Lady L is brilliant--BRILLIANT you hear!!

The Regulus/Severus pairing, something I had never thought of until I read this story, is inspired and as I look at their similiar pasts as Death Eaters, Slytherins and Defectors to the side of light, it makes a twisted kind of sense. The kind of twisted sense that I ADORE!

Also, the way that this story is woven, it fufills the present Canon of Harry Potter, all the kooky stuff we learn in HBP, and yet shows a very plausible way that Regulus could have gone after the locket for Dumbledore and yet leave Dumbledore not getting the locket or even knowing where the artifact was placed. Wonderful!

hay just finshed have not got to the seers truth yet been caching up on storys after hbp came out, this one souns good and i wouldn't mimd reading more. the only thing i wonder about is if Sirus has the locket then why did Dumbuldore not know it had been swiched? ^_^

Shudder! ... Nicely done and fits the available evidence much better than the Severus/Lily theories, but probably still not what JKR has in mind. Nevertheless an excellent idea. I quite like it.
