You've written a very compelling story and I'm absolutely enthralled with how everything is panning out. I especially love Jayne and River's brilliance in their plan, and I think you've created a very wonderful OC that isn't too big of a part or too little of a part...in fact, he seems like a character we could have seen on the show, had it been given a chance. And I must say, I really love the dynamic between Jayne and River in this. It's very believable and endearing. You've captured these characters brilliantly.

I would love to read more of this story, and I hope for an update soon!

This is such a delightfully quirky and heartwarming story. It's surprisingly relaxing to read something without a set genre. And, of course, the fact that it's a Rayne story doesn't hurt. ;)

Wow, great story! "Beyond the Black" had a very surprising, and this is story definitely an awesome way to expound upon it. I'm very glad I found it. I thought Jayne as a foreman was a very nice - and fitting - touch, and the alternate life he and River are living was well-created as well as interesting. Well-written and engaging - I really want to know what happens next!
