Brilliant story, truly is, one little niggle, you use prognosis in the wrong sense. Diagnosis is indentifying the cause of the symptoms, prognosis is predicting which symptoms will present themselves next. prognosis, in greek, pretty much just means foreknowledge. Diagnosis =on the other hand I'm not sure, since dia has so many meanings in ancient greek, but i suppose the dia meaning 'because of' would make sense.

i like the story so far, although i dnt like wilsons story as much, call me sadistic but its a bit boring with him being hurt too. not your fault, im just weird :P
